About annalouday

Anna has just finished her MA in Experimental Film. Her work is exploring how we relate to our landscape, focusing on the things that often get overlooked. Anna's work has had her work shown at the ICA, RWA and Animated Exeter.

I’ve been a bit quiet on here, over the 9 months I’ve been struggling with M.E. So my photography has been a struggle to keep up. I now time myself when I feel able to do something creative, so it doesn’t wipe me out!

Anyway found these seed heads in the garden, it’s amazing to see something decomposing. So fragile and the detail is so interesting!

I guess in a way, it’s a representation of how I have been feeling with my illness.

Love watching these burrowing bees. They take over my garden for a bit. So glad that they come back every year, with the numbers declining it’s nice to know that they are still around.

Small blue butterfly

Spotted this amazing Butterfly on my plant pot.

Found some information on the Butterfly conservation website, it says that “The butterfly tends to live in small colonies and is declining in most areas”

Better get cracking with planting my butterfly garden!
